Each year the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) collects information about the quality of services provided through Medicare Advantage and Medicare prescription drug plan programs.

Surveys will be mailed to selected members in early March.

The survey asks questions about member experience on a number of topics, including:

• Getting needed care
• Getting care quickly
• Coordination of care
• Health plan customer service
• Getting needed prescription drugs
• Provider and plan ratings
• Doctors who communicate well

The survey results help inform the star ratings published on the Medicare Compare website. Additional information is available here.
