CLIENT COMMUNICATION NOTICE

We will be sending this communication to all clients that have had coverage with Sanford Health Plan from December 27th, 2020 through November 1st, 2023. Please reach out to your Account Manager if you have any questions regarding this communication.

Dear [Client],

If you had active coverage with Sanford Health Plan at any point between December 27, 2020 through November 1, 2023, Sanford Health Plan has submitted the Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance Attestation (GCPCA) on your behalf.

If you had active coverage with another carrier at any point during that time frame, additional attestation may be required. You should contact the respective carrier to verify that they will be submitting the GCPCA on your behalf, or visit https://www.cms.gov/marketplace/about/oversight/other-insurance-protections/gag-clause-prohibition-compliance-attestation for instructions on how to submit the attestation on your own behalf. The first GCPCA is due no later than December 31, 2023. Subsequent attestations, covering the period since the last preceding attestation, are due by December 31 of each year thereafter. Sanford Health Plan will complete subsequent attestations on your behalf, as long as you have active coverage within the reporting period and have not opted to report on your own behalf.
