Update on Third Party Vendor Phone Calls

Sanford Health Plan (SHP) is now offering a guest access feature on our website that allows users to quickly verify a member’s eligibility and/or claim status. With this new feature availability, we will no longer accept phone calls from third-party vendors to verify member eligibility or claim status.

This feature is intended for those individuals that don't have access to the SHP provider portal but would like to verify member eligibility and/or claim status. This option allows users to easily access the necessary information through the website rather than calling the customer service phone number.   

If your organization has contracted with a third-party vendor to gather member eligibility and/or claim status, their call will be refused by the customer service team, and they will be directed to the guest access feature.

To access this feature, follow the links above, or go to sanfordhealthplan.com, hover over “For Providers”, and select “Guest Access” from the drop-down menu.
