Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private health insurance companies that administer your Original Medicare benefits. You’re still in the Medicare program, with Medicare rights and protections. • Dental benefits help you stay on top of routine exams and cleanings, with access to the Delta Dental® Medicare Advantage network. Optional supplemental dental benefits are available on select plans, giving you additional flexibility and support.
• Hearing benefits from TruHearing® include your annual hearing exam. You can also use your tiered hearing aid benefits to access a variety of aids with the newest technology.
• Vision benefits from VSP® Vision Care cover your annual routine eye exam, standard lenses and provide an allowance for frames or contacts.[

What else should I know about Medicare Advantage?

Unlike Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans have an out-of-pocket maximum each year for covered services, helping protect you from excessive annual healthcare costs.

With a Medicare Advantage plan, you’ll also most likely need to see healthcare providers from the plan’s network. Some, but not all, Part C plans offer out-of-network coverage but for a higher out-of-pocket cost.
